Volgograd - Moscow

Our trip comes to an end. After one month nectar journey in Ukraine and South Russia we are returning to Moscow.
Our plane from Volgograd to Moscow took off in the morning, approximately in seven o’clock. Volgograd temple is located in 10-15 minutes by car from the airport. We were supposed to leave in 5 am. There was only one car for Guru Maharaja. I did not want to disturb Guru Maharaja and therefore planned to order a taxi at this time. But Guru Maharaja said, that is not necessity for any taxi and in the morning sent me by car to the airport, so that I could reserve his place in line for registration. Car returned back to the temple for Guru Maharaja. There was practically no queue. Guru Maharaj arrived after 35 minutes with Acyutagraja prabhu, Ananda Kirtan prabhu and few more devotees, who came to see him off.
Except for Ananda-kirtan prabhu, who had to return back to Ukraine, we flied all together.  We passed registration nicely. The weight of all bags was divided on three, therefore there was no overweight. Acyutagraja prabhu, as a true brahmachari, had only one small bag.

We waited permission for boarding. Guru Maharaja chanted japa. A bit later, cunningly smiling, Guru Maharaj approached me and quietly said: “Stand near the door, through which we shall pass for boarding, so that we can be the first”. I went to a door, and literally after one minute, boarding was announced. All passengers rushed to an exit. Guru Maharaja with Acyutagraja were quick to follow. They quickly came and we were first to enter the door. I thought that I have to learn from Guru Maharaja his foresight.
We flied by TU-134. If you do not know much about it, I shall briefly describe it. It is small plane, with two lines of armchairs. In each line there are two chairs. The distance between chairs is so small, that there is not enough space for legs even for a small man. The plane looked half-empty. Our seats were at the end. Guru Maharaja at once occupied two chairs in a right line and advised us to do the same. Acytagraja prabhu sat on the left from Guru Maharaja and I occupied seats ahead.
Flight took about one and half hour. Guru Maharaja chanted japa and read books. Then Acyutagraja prepared medicines for Guru Maharaja and offered him Ekadashi prasadam. Guru Maharaja has offered it to us also.
When the plane began to lowered, they announced temperature in Moscow  +2. Guru Maharaj began to put on warm cloth. Devotees gave to him the whole package of woolen socks. One pair he stretched to me. I have thanked Guru Maharaja and, as socks were new, I have asked whether it is necessary for me to worship them or I can put them on. Guru Maharaja told, that I should wear them. Once again having thanked Guru Maharaja, I began to put them in a bag. The plane was landing. It was very noisy and we could hardly hear anything. Guru Maharaja began to shout: “Why do you put them in the bag. Put them on, it is cold on the street”. I am always surprised, how Guru Maharaja indefatigably cares about devotees.
We quickly passed the customs control and began to wait for the luggage. Guru Maharaja went somewhere and quickly returned. His face expressed surprise. When he came to us, he said: “nobody is meeting us”! I could not believe. The disciples are always meeting our spiritual master. I went to look too. In the hall of the airport there were no devotees. Guru Maharaja looked out second time – nobody was there.
He asked for my mobile, for his telephone, one of these days fell into water. Unfortunately money on my account got finished, and I have asked the girl in registration to call from their telephone. Usually they do not permit it, therefore I have put into her hand 50 rubles and she kindly gave me the telephone.
After calling to Akinchana Krishna prabhu, I found out that he got stuck in traffic jam and will be in 10 minutes. Guru Maharaja said: “That is not a problem, let’s not worry, we shall wait“.
When I hanged up, Guru Maharaja asked with surprise: “It is interesting that she has allowed you to make a call. Did you give her money?” Having heard the affirmative answer, he has asked how much. When Guru Maharaja found out, that I paid 50 rubles, he began to appall: “For one call they have taken so much money”! He asked why I have not given less. I had in my pocket 10 rubles banknote, but I thought, that Guru Maharaja could make more calls. Therefore I gave 50, to be safe. Besides, I was afraid, that with less than 50, they simply would not agree to allow us to call. I did not say it to Guru Maharaja. I simply told that it is not a problem and that it is not such a big amount for the phone call in the airport. Guru Maharaja did not calm down. He continued to say, that it is too much money for one call. He insisted that I should take back the change. He said: “You should take back the change. Go and take it”. I was in space out. On one hand, it is impossible to disobey Guru Maharaja, from another, as I gave this money voluntary - to ask back for change, from my side, it would be simply ridiculous. Ultimately I have persuaded Guru Maharaja not to go for claiming the change. Guru Maharaja agreed, though still remained with his conviction. He showed the example, that it is necessary to be more careful with money - energy of the Lord and not to spend it for nothing.
When we have received luggage and came into the hall of the airport, the devotees with happy faces and bunches of flowers were there already.
Guru Maharaja talked to the disciples, got into a car and went to Yaroslavl to look at the new temple.
