Today is Nrsimha Caturdasi--Guru Maharaja Prays to Lord Nrsimghadev extensively at least 3 times a day. So it is a very important day for him.He is giving the class also and is chanting extra rounds on the japas of those who will become initiated.After reading the sanskrit translation , verse translation and purport I left to make sure the initiation preparations were going on so I did not attend the class. Today is fasting, but Guru Maharaj should not fast because he must take his medecine.Although he told us to prepare fruits, still he fasted. The class finished by 9: 10 and the initiation was plan by 10. As usual all was little delayed.

"What is the 5 th regulative principle" Guru Maharaja asked, bewildering most of the audience." Controlling the mind" he says as people laugh. All went smothly. I always pray for that so he may not get unecessary tention.In the evening after attending some meeting was the beautifull abhisekh of Lord Nrsimha that Guru Mahaharaj took part in. Specially on these moments when he performs abhisekh, he looks so happy, and on that day he looked espescially beautiful. On that day I met with Bhurijana Prabhu who asked me about Guru Maharaja's plans. After telling him, amazed he started praising Guruj Maharaja:" He is one of the most potent devotees I ever met. So determined and fixed in the principles. I am in awe and reverence in front of him. Not to much in awe and and reverence because he is also my old friend. We met in '68 in Montreal when I was going to get initiated". Today is the 4 th, I left Vrindavan yesterday to pay for the travel tickets. Guru Maharaja came at 1:30 for 30 minutes en route to Chandigarh and Kuruksetra. He went with Balvinder, the Kenyan bhakta and Angada the Russian doctor as Guru Maharaja presents him to many people. Myself I just got a heavy sun stroke so Bhagavatpada told me to stay in his AC room and drink alot of cold juices and work on the computer. Monday night we should be flying to Bombay and Wednesday after midnight to Russia. Guru Maharaja is little worried about taking the plane for so long, he prays his health may hold on, so he may fulfill Srila Prabhupada's mission.
