Diary

21 September 1996
(by Nrsimghananda das)

Yesterday on the plane Guru Maharaja was siting next to a french man. The man was in his 60 th and he look open minded. Immediately when Guru Maharaja sat next to him he noticed that he was reading a french guide book. As Guru Maharaja knows french from his studies in France during the 60 th he started speaking to him in french. The man happily responded to him. I was sitting one seat in front, still Guru Maharaja told me to preach to him. When it was time for eating he received a non vegetarian dish, so Srila Bhagavatpada told him a vegetarian dish would be better. The man aknowledged, so Guru Maharaja told the air hostess to give him a vegetarian dish. This is the beauty of the pure devotee, he cares for all living entities, he cares undiscriminitly of who the person is. We were coming from Bhubanewar were we had stayed for 1 1/2 day. Before that we were in Bombay for a few days. And before that Guru Maharaja was in Calcutta for the Indian BBT meeting. We had some problems on COM so we had not downloaded for some time. I was happy to see that the conferences continued while I was in Chandigargh and not travelling with Guru Maharaja. It is nice everyone who has direct experience, even for 1 minute can share Guru Maharaja transcendental activities with everyone on the conference.

12 November 2003
(by Yasomatinandana das)

Yesterday by Krishna's grace I managed to speak to Guru Maharaja on the phone just when he was leaving for the Airport to fly to Delhi. He was very happy to hear me - he was trying to call me to find out how I was feeling. He had Aniruddha Prabhu try and find my phone but my wife was not at home and he could not. I had no hopes of speaking to Guru Maharaja as I thought he would just change from one plane to another. But I still decided to give it a try and to my luck I found out that he was in the Moscow Temple.

While Guru Maraja was walking we had a feast and then I wrote the previous piece of diary. THen he came, took prasadam, took a little rest and we went for the evening program. Devotees rented a hall and theere were over 200 people. Guru Maharaja spoke at length about Lord NItyananda's pastimes - HIs childhood pastimes, His travel over the holy places, Jagai and Madhai and HIs delivence of the gang of dacoits. He concluded with ecstatic kirtana. Then he gave darsanas in the room in the same cultural hall.

Volgograd - Moscow
13 October 2005
(by Ishnai d.d.)

Our trip comes to an end. After one month nectar journey in Ukraine and South Russia we are returning to Moscow.
Our plane from Volgograd to Moscow took off in the morning, approximately in seven o’clock. Volgograd temple is located in 10-15 minutes by car from the airport. We were supposed to leave in 5 am. There was only one car for Guru Maharaja. I did not want to disturb Guru Maharaja and therefore planned to order a taxi at this time. But Guru Maharaja said, that is not necessity for any taxi and in the morning sent me by car to the airport, so that I could reserve his place in line for registration. Car returned back to the temple for Guru Maharaja. There was practically no queue. Guru Maharaj arrived after 35 minutes with Acyutagraja prabhu, Ananda Kirtan prabhu and few more devotees, who came to see him off.
Except for Ananda-kirtan prabhu, who had to return back to Ukraine, we flied all together.  We passed registration nicely. The weight of all bags was divided on three, therefore there was no overweight. Acyutagraja prabhu, as a true brahmachari, had only one small bag.
